While the Coffee Grounds Settle Art Exhibit

art Exhibitiondesigner

The Embassy of the United Arab Emirates and Dirnaza Curatorial Lab curated an art exhibit in the heart of Georgetown in Washington, DC. “While the Coffee Grounds Settle: Stories by Women in the UAE is an exhibition celebrating the diversity of women in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) through the lens of fluid, inclusive spaces that center cultures of femininity.” The exhibit features remarkable female artists whose arts examines traditional feminine spaces as venues for social exchange including togetherness and leadership.
My teammate Molly and I designed all the visuals for this art exhibit where we made it more modern to mimic the diverse and contemporary art pieces. The exhibit package included a logo design, branding, environmental design (signage, wayfinding), social media, promotional campaigns, posters, roll-up banners, postcards, stickers, print and digital exhibition booklets, promotional campaigns, wall labels, and invitations.
